We started out on a 14 day free trial at Discourse just to see what it was like and quickly moved to a self hosted site on Digital Ocean. This is to unlock all the full potential of the Discourse package with is open source and has great community support. It is fully functional and I encourage you to create an account there and be a part of creating the look and feel of the hosted site. One cutting edge customization we are working on is an Ask Robo Dude page... where folks can ask the Robo Dude questions and he will respond in real time. There are several ways this could be implemented but the plan is to build our own server running Discourse... an llm which is the AI part that will be powering the Robo Dude persona and others too...
