Oregon Road Trip

Early October 2016 I made a trip to Portland, Oregon to reconnect with my son whom I had not spent time with in about 20 years. It was my first time to the area and it went very well and it is quite a unique and interesting area. We drove up the highway along side the Columbia River... you could easily see the layers laid down long ago by the volcanoes. We went by Mt Hood but it was overcast and raining.... so we drove on by it. The next day we went to the Japanese Gardens in Portland.
